Accelerated Resolution Therapy
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidence-based therapy modality for treating PTSD/trauma, anxiety, depression, and more. It utilizes the power of eye movements or other bilateral stimulation to process and change client’s negative imagery to positive images. The eye movements help clients use bottom-up processing to make transformations in somatic complaints, responses to trauma triggers, nightmares, negative thought processes and more. ART additionally utilizes Gestalt, Guided Imagery, Relaxation Skills, Meditation, and Psychodynamic Therapy to enhance treatment.

ART is a short-term treatment modality that can be done independently or in the context of other therapy modalities. Many times, clients report positive change in as little as one session and most clients engaging in 2-6 sessions of ART for complicated traumas.
